13-Year-Old Prodigy Showcases his Talent in Exhibition Match | Summertime Madness III

It was a night to remember for Luca Schembri, Pro Wrestling Malta’s youngest trainee, as he performed in front of the PWM crowd for the first time at the tender age of 13 years old. One would think that 13 is too young to be a Pro Wrestler, however, looking at some past (and present) greats, it is not too uncommon for Pro Wrestlers to start at such a young age.

Luca made his Pro Wrestling debut at the same age as former WWE Women’s Champion Paige, and one year younger than WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who had his first professional match when he was just 14 years old. Other legends such as William Regal, Becky Lynch, and Mae Young had also started their careers at a young age, all making their Pro Debuts at the age of 15.

The PWM fans quickly took a liking to the young Luca, after a good technical showing against one-half of the PWM Tag Team Champions, Kyle Brookes. Brookes would end up getting the victory with an inside cradle, and would not hesitate to show respect to the young trainee – who showed courage, technical prowess, and showmanship in his first outing as a Professional Wrestler.

It is never too early to start chasing your dreams, as highlighted by Luca’s story – come train with us at the PWM Dojo and you could be the next breakout star of PWM!
