2019 PWM Year End Awards

Another year is done and dusted and as a tradition here at Pro Wrestling Malta, at every end of year we present the PWM Yearly Awards. This year there were 6 different categories Local Wrestler of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, International Wrestler of the year, OMG Moment of the Year and Champion of the Year.

Local Wrestler of the Year award goes to international star Gianni Valletta picking up more that 1/3 of the total votes. Trailing behind are Jack Quinn and Owen Blanco with 18 and 17 votes respectively. Rookie of the year is a clear victory for the youngest wrestler on the PWM Roster, Iz-Zghir picking up a whooping 73 votes!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two new rookies surprisingly picked up Tag Team of the Year award over all the teams who held the Tag Championships throughout the year, with Iz-Zghir and Adam Envy gaining almost 50% of the votes. International wrestler of the year was a close call, with Red Scorpion scoring a victory in this category. Former WWE star Tajiri picked up second place as the most favorite international wrestler of 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first ever female championship match picked up the OMG Moment of the year. This happened during our last event of 2019 when Kat Von Kaige defender the BEW Female Championship against Lexa Valo. Our last award of the year goes to current and first ever 2x PWM Champion Glamorous Roddy, picking up the PWM Top Champion of the year 2019.
