Drama Unfolds as Adam Envy Crashes Helios vs. Nathan Angel Match
Published: 16/06/2025
Pro Wrestling Malta (PWM) celebrated its 10th anniversary on May 17th with an unforgettable night of professional wrestling, featuring a high-stakes match that turned into an explosive triple threat.
The originally scheduled singles bout between UK rising star Nathan Angel and Mexican sensation Helios quickly evolved into a thrilling three-way contest when local star Adam Envy stormed the ring just moments before the bell. Envy boldly inserted himself into the match, instantly raising the stakes and sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The match showcased the clash of styles that PWM fans love: Angel’s technical precision and British grit, Helios’s lightning-fast lucha libre aerial offense, and Envy’s raw power and aggression. After a back-and-forth battle packed with near falls and dramatic sequences, Helios hit his signature 619 — a move that seemed destined to seal the victory.

But just as Helios went for the pin, Envy ruthlessly intervened, throwing Helios out of the ring and stealing the win at the last moment. The crowd erupted in shock and outrage as Envy basked in the controversial victory.
Post-match tensions boiled over immediately. Helios confronted Envy in the ring, furious at the stolen win, and called him a coward for his underhanded tactics. Envy accepted the challenge, setting up a fiery grudge match for PWM’s next event. As a final act of defiance, Envy delivered a brutal low blow to Helios, standing tall in the center of the ring as the crowd erupted with anticipation for the showdown to come.
