A Battle of Styles: The 2024 Baron Mikel Scicluna Memorial Cup Does Not Disappoint

Published: 04/12/2024

This year’s Baron Mikel Scicluna Memorial Cup match showcased a thrilling collision of four wrestlers, each bringing their own distinct style to the ring in a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way contest. The competitors included the high-flying “Mexican Sensation” Helios, the unpredictable and menacing “Freak Show” member Twisted Tommy, the athletically gifted TJ Sky, and the hardcore legend from Hungary, Ron Corvus.

The match kicked off with an explosive brawl that spilled both inside and outside the ring, as all four competitors engaged in chaos and brutality. It didn’t take long for Helios and TJ Sky to separate themselves from the mayhem, taking center stage inside the ring. Their impressive athleticism and high-flying moves captivated the audience, with Helios dazzling the crowd by taking out both TJ Sky and Ron Corvus after they had teamed up briefly to target him.

Seizing the moment, Twisted Tommy made his move, blindsiding Helios with a sneak attack from behind. Despite not being known for his technical prowess, Tommy shocked everyone by delivering a picture-perfect fisherman’s suplex, nearly securing the victory in the process.

However, the match’s unpredictable nature continued to unfold. Ron Corvus, who had briefly rolled out of the action after a devastating flying elbow from TJ Sky, watched from the outside as Helios hit a spectacular double 619 on his two opponents. It was then that Corvus seized his chance—he grabbed a guitar from beneath the ring, smashed it over Helios’s head, and followed up with a brutal piledriver, scoring the pinfall and securing the victory. With that, Ron Corvus became the 2024 Baron Mikel Scicluna Memorial Cup champion.
