Envy pins former WWE Superstar to retain his title at Fall Brawl!

With an entrance that mesmerized the Pro Wrestling Malta fans like no other, former WWE Superstar Scotty 2 Hotty showed why he is a living legend of the business after over 30 years in the business. The Pro Wrestling Malta Champion Adam Envy, with his new ally Owen Blanco in his corner, on the other hand, felt like he had a point to prove against the former WWE Tag Team and Light Heavyweight Champion in what was his toughest test as champion so far.

Envy was in no mood for Scotty’s entertaining antics, who attacked him with a barrage of forearms and kicks as soon as the bell rang, looking to establish his authority in the ring early on, but the tenacious former WWE Superstar proved it to be a tough task for the Pro Wrestling Malta Champion, who would swiftly attack him back. The influence of the Noble One in the champion’s corner was also felt throughout the match, taking every opportunity to distract the referee and take cheap shots to turn the tide in the champion’s favor.

Envy managed to get the victory late on in the match with a dirty roll-up, holding Scotty’s tights to once again retain his title, this time with the help of the Noble One in his corner, who would then attempt to attack Scotty from the back after the match. Scotty 2 Hotty was having none of it, however, and would manage to gain the upper hand to deliver the move that made him one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE’s hottest period, the Attitude Era, delivering the worm on a stricken Adam Envy to the behest of a raucous Pro Wrestling Malta crowd.
