Former WWE superstar returning to Malta

On July 10, former WWE and Japanese wrestling living legend Tajiri will be back in Malta for the third time, second time performing in front of the Maltese crowd. Many remember Tajiri being on WWE TV between 2001 and 2006 for bringing a revolutionary style for those times and mainly for the Green Mist, the green liquid he used to spit into the eyes of his opponents to temporarily blinding them.

The last time Tajiri was in Malta, he put his PWM title on the line, whom he won in the weekend prior from then champion Red Scorpion at an event in Bologna for BWT, against former champions Red Scorpion and Glamorous Roddy. During the match there was interference from VP Dozer who was in the corner of his friend Red Scorpion, Jack Quinn the former friend of Glamorous Roddy and also Gianni Valletta the tag team partner in Japan of Tajiri himself. The match was one of the best ever in PWM history, however Tajiri ended up losing the PWM Championship, after Glamorous Roddy pinned Red Scorpion after a frog splash. Tajiri with a number of other international superstars and all your favorite local athletes will be in action on Sunday July 10 at the Greek Theatre at ‘Gnien l-Gharusa tal-Mosta’ in Mosta. Event is limited to 200 people and you can buy your tickets here
