Gianni Valletta in AJPW Real World Tag League 2018

Gianni Valletta has just finished his second tour in Japan with AJPW, after a first tour of 3 months this past summer. Since November 12th, Valletta has been teaming with former WWE & ECW star Tajiri in the prestigious AJPW Real World Tag League, a tournament which has been going on since the last 70’s.
Valletta and Tajiri had to compete against 10 other teams with other participants coming from Japan, New Zealand and America. A number of legendary competitors participated in this year’s tournament,with names such as Jun Akiyama, Joe Doering, Daisuke Sekimoto, Tajiri amongst others.
Team Maltajiri did not get the final win, which went to the team of The Bombers (Joe Doering and Dylan James), however having for the first time a maltese wrestler competing in this prestigious tournament is something huge for the local professional wrestling scene.
