Pro Wrestling Malta’s Inaugural ‘In Your Town’ Event: A Night of Thrills and Community Support

Pro Wrestling Malta proudly hosted its very first In Your Town event at the Zurrieq Wolves ASC Club on Friday December 6th, marking a significant milestone for the organization. This event was not only a celebration of local wrestling talent but also served a meaningful cause, with all proceeds being donated to the Richmond Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health. Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, the turnout was impressive. The Zurrieq Wolves Club was nearly at full capacity, with fans filling every table around the ring, enjoying their food and drinks while soaking in the excitement of live wrestling, featuring some of their favorite local stars.

Throughout the evening, the fans were treated to an action-packed lineup of four thrilling matches. The first contest saw Jack Quinn defeat the formidable Mauler in an unexpected turn of events, securing a quick victory with a roll-up pin. In the second match, Kyle V, making his much-anticipated debut for Pro Wrestling Malta, found himself in a tough spot against the experienced Adam Envy. Despite his best efforts, Kyle was forced to tap out after being locked into Envy’s devastating crossface submission hold. The third match witnessed Sinister Roddy take on Helios in a hard-fought battle. In the aftermath of the match, Roddy, Mauler, and Envy continued to assault Helios, until Kyle V rushed out to the rescue, challenging the three attackers to a 3-on-2 tag match in the evening’s main event.

The crowd erupted in excitement as the main event began. Helios and Kyle V were joined by the popular Gianni Valletta, leveling the playing field against Sinister Roddy, Adam Envy, and The Mauler. Together, the trio of local heroes managed to overcome the odds, defeating the villainous trio in a thrilling display of teamwork, much to the delight of the cheering fans.

Pro Wrestling Malta, in collaboration with the Richmond Foundation, extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported this charitable cause. By the end of the night, the event had raised nearly 400 euros, which will go directly to those in need.
