Envy retains his PWM Championship after tough bout

The Battle for Redemption

Pro Wrestling Malta Champion Adam Envy came into Summertime Madness III with a chip on his shoulder, following a successful tour of Hungary’s Xtreme Wrestling Promotion (XWP) where he left undefeated. Jack Quinn, however, had a point to prove to Envy, the fans, and possibly even himself, after he lost the PWM title to Envy in controversial fashion at Spring Stampede.

Envy was expecting an easy night, following the news that his original opponent, Zak Zodiac’s flight was canceled, and claimed that Zak canceled the flight himself as he was afraid of Adam Envy. PWM management had other ideas in mind, however, as they decided to make Jack Quinn and Fabio Ferrari’s match earlier in the evening a number one contender’s match for Envy’s Pro Wrestling Malta Championship.

A Battle of Grit and Betrayal

In what was one of Pro Wrestling Malta’s most hard-hitting title bouts, Jack Quinn brought his A-Game to this fight, despite having already competed against an Italian veteran in Ferrari earlier that night. These two warriors left it all in the ring, hitting each other with one signature move after another. The match would be spoiled by a returning Fabio Ferrari, using his signature tennis racket on Quinn as revenge for defeating him earlier, which would end up costing the former PWM champion and leading to another controversial title defence for Adam Envy.
