It was a long-awaited clash between two of Pro Wrestling Malta’s veteran wrestlers, Red Scorpion, and “Wildman” Gianni Valletta. The charismatic Italian came into Summertime Madness III with harsh words, claiming that Gianni is “nothing compared to the Red Scorpion” and that the Italian is “the Rolex of this business”. Safe to say that Gianni went into this bout with a point to prove against his biggest rival on this island.
A Rivalry of Glory and Pride
In this bout, Scorpion entered with a cunning plan, resorting to underhanded tactics to evade the Wildman and attempting to mentally destabilize him. Nevertheless, Gianni remained unfazed, swiftly countering with the hard-hitting techniques he had honed during his tenure at All Japan Pro Wrestling.
